Renn Parker

Robin Givhan's comments on Dick Cheney's Holocaust observation-day attire are as childish and irresponsible as it gets. Givhan should be placed on an 18th Century dunking chair and repeatedly dipped into a pool of water until her demons are thoroughly exorcised.

Hugh

I could care less what you think about the attire of Vice President Dick Cheney when he represented the United States at a solemn ceremony remembering the liberation of Auschwitz.

Why don't you find something more constructive to do besides criticizing people.

Lisa

Aw, be sweet. It's entertaining that someone is apparently so exercised over what a fashion critic has to say, he's or she's proposing cruel and unusual punishment over her right to write what she pleases.

And it's even funnier that he or she had to Google for mentions of Givham in order to exorcise their own demons of hostility.

So thank you, Renn, for helping us laugh and love again.

Immature and irresponsible is all I can say
about ms. Givhan's remarks about VP Cheyney.

Personal comfort is important and particularly important if you have a serious heart problem.

It is always best to not judge.

Lisa

"It is always best to not judge" ...

... says someone judging Givhan.

Y'all are KILLING me here. Thank you!

Mr. Sobell

"Immature and irresponsible is all I can say
about ms. Givhan's remarks about VP Cheyney."

Weird and offputting is your choice of sentence structure.

"Personal comfort is important and particularly important if you have a serious heart problem."

If personal comfort is such a concern for the vice president, then perhaps he would be more comfortable if he were to resign from the rigors of the vice presidency. I know I'd be more comfortable if he did that.

Lisa

I just fell in love all over again.

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrowr!

What did Robin Givhan have to say about the Arab members of the UN who balked at commemorating the anniversary at all?

Emily

Robin Givhan personifies all that is comical and petty about the modern left...and like her cohorts, she does it without even trying!

Here's a suggestion for her and every other America-hating Lib out there. GET the *#@% out of my country -- Canada is calling you!

Mr. Sobell

"What did Robin Givhan have to say about the Arab members of the UN who balked at commemorating the anniversary at all?"

I think she said, "Nice attempt at constructing a straw man. You must be very intellectually lazy."

Mr. Sobell

"Here's a suggestion for her and every other America-hating Lib out there. GET the *#@% out of my country -- Canada is calling you!"

And speaking of the intellectually lazy...

Lisa

FYI to all you drive-by commentors who are visiting here only so you can clutch your pearls and pretend you've got a moral leg to stand on:

I've closed the comments here. However, since I've written about Givham several times, I compiled all the links in one spot so you can view her work and THEN provide me with your delightful one-liners. It's all here.

Thank you for your cooperation, all you commentors I've never seen before on my website, and will likely never see again.
